Halloween in Minneapolis

We had a lot of Halloween events this year. We attended the "Boo at Como Zoo" with some of Kaia's friends. Kaia also had Halloween at daycare and at preschool. We had lots of tric or treaters in the neighborhood on Friday night. Karin and I had a costume party on Saturday night. Here are a sample of the pictures.

Chicago visiting my grandparents

We had a lovely visit with my grandparents in Chicago a few weekends back. We took the new minivan for our first big roadtrip. Here are a few pics of the girls with Great-Papa and Great-grandma...and great Aunt Carol.

Pumpkin Patch

In an annual ritual, Karin and the girls went to the pumpkin patch. Something about girls with red hair and pumpkins...strange. Amelie seemed to to really enjoy herself.

The Water Toy

Kaia and Amelie received a wonderful water toy from their great-aunt Eleanor in Los Angeles. Needless to say that Kaia enjoys the toy nearly as much as she enjoy walking around in the buff.

Congratulations John & Carina

We traveled to Copenhagen Denmark for the wedding of Karin's brother John to Carina Skajaa. We spent most of our time at a spa north of Copenhagen where the reception was held. It was a beautiful wedding. We had so much fun spending time with Karin's family and we made lots of memories. Check our our web album with all of the photos. There will probably be a YouTube video to follow if Carina approves its content.

born at 11:56 am on Monday March 3rd 2008. She weighed 8lbs 1 oz and is 22 inches long. She has the tremendously long toes and a full head of auburn hair.
By the way...it is pronounced AH-me-lee-Yah
or ah-MEEL-Yah....whichever you prefer.
